This was a time of success for Chevy. They made many new post-war models that people still love today. A lot of this is because of the small block V8 engine that was made in 1955. This engine is one of the most popular today. One car of the time was the corvette, made in 1953 and still going strong today. Some others are the Bel Air from 1953 to 1975, the Biscayne 1958-1971, and the El Camino from 1959 to 1960 and then again from 1964 to 1987. This was a very big time for Chevrolet.
